NOT gate, "Inverter gate"
The NOT (¬) gate, most commonly known as an "Inverter" gate, inverts the input (A) of a redstone wire, changing the state of the power flow, meaning that the output (O) of this repeater is now at an opposite state, allowing the redstone power to transmit anotehr fifteen blocks before another inverter is needed
